Actalent Hiring for Test Engineer – C#/LabVIEW at Michigan City, Indiana Full Time

This Test Engineer Opportunity is a partially-onsite remote role in Michigan City, Indiana.

Description:

o Manufacturing environment, working on testing calibration equipment that goes into manufacturing locations and does quality and calibration of devices.

o Investigate and develop manufacturing software and procedures involved in production of electronic products.

o Identify improvements which can be made with respect to production quality, reduction of takt time, and cost of electronic products as related to product firmware, production systems, test/calibration, and quality control software.

o Plan and execute manufacturing software engineering projects with the objective of specifying and implementing new or revised manufacturing processes and/or firmware modification necessary to make improvements identified in #2 above.

o Troubleshoot new product & existing firmware, software, and system interactions for functionality.

o Provide ongoing software technical support for all electronics manufacturing technologies, including firmware of new and existing products.

o Analyze, recommend, and implement changes in test/calibration software and hardware to optimize manufacturing efficiency and performance.

o Participate in conceptualization and preliminary design planning for new and/or revised product firmware and test/calibration software to be used with electronic production manufacturing.

o Define manufacturing systems improvements and implement them in new projects.

o Implement Production and Quality Control information and reporting as required.

o Provide timely and quality services and support to all internal and external customers.

o Consistently develop creative and effective solutions to those opportunities.

o NI/LabView/CVI

o Ability to work on a Small team, 2-5 people
