Actalent Looking for Software Engineer Intern at Denver, CO Full Time

Actalent is hiring several Aerospace Software Engineers (of all levels and experience) for a large Aerospace/DoD company located around the Denver, CO area. Position does offer full time benefits, including health/medical, paid vacation, paid holiday, etc. Will be required to obtain a US Secret Clearance. Can be processed before starting.

• Description:*
• Position responsibilities include, but not limited to; the design, development, and implementation of spacecraft embedded C/C++ flight-software, ground test software, and simulation software.
• Will develop and integrate software components into a fully functional software system, processes, tools and metrics.
• Will also perform unit and system test design and implementation using simulations, test and flight system hardware.
• Establishing software development design philosophy, practices, and coding standards (and code reviews).
• Develop software verification plans and test procedures for hardware-in-the-loop test campaigns!
• Qualifications:*
• Engineering degree or similar to; Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, etc.
• 2+ years of Software experience
• Strong experience with C++ Development
• Strong experience working with Linux or Unix
• Ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced collaborative interdisciplinary team environment
• Expert in algorithms and data structures
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Clearance
