Active Interest Media Hiring for Digital Editor at Remote Full Time

The digital editor is responsible for managing and executing digital content strategy for the brand, including driving strategic changes and growth of the brand. This includes content development/delivery via website and newsletter, SEO research and initiatives, and social media and website management.

Professional Responsibilities

Professional demeanor is necessary for all positions at Active Interest Media. In addition to courteous, friendly, businesslike behavior, the following qualifications are fundamental to this position:

• Digital Content Strategy/Production: Lead the development of high-quality content to drive growth through SEO, social, newsletter and other outlets
• Drive Strategic Digital Brand Leadership and Growth: creating, implementing, and sustaining high-impact growth initiatives
• SEO Strategy: facilitate the acquisition of new users and optimize the discoverability for content across digital platforms using SEO tools
• Social Media Management: maximize traffic, engagement, and growth across all social platforms, including Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter
• Newsletter Production: produce weekly newsletter and monitor data for areas of opportunities/wins
• Website Management/User Experience: strategically grow brand by identifying and implementing opportunities to improve the user experience
• Digital Video/Photography Production: assist in producing visual content specifically for digital distribution, including photography for digital-only products
• eCommerce Store Management: assist in producing relevant eCommerce products and making them available for sale via the company’s Shopify stores
