ActronAir is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Marsden Park.

ABOUT THE ROLE…

Reporting to the Controls Engineering Manager, the Software Engineer (Applications & Cloud) is responsible for the Cloud and Mobile applications and their interactions with our air conditioning control systems.

Critical responsibilities also include product design and development and product maintenance.

The successful candidate will be supported in their development which will see you grow your skills and progress into more senior roles as opportunities arise.

ABOUT YOU…

Suitably qualified candidates with the following skills and experience should apply:

• Development and debugging of C/C#, Java, Objective-C/Swift applications
• Cross-platform Mobile application development (e.g. Cordova)
• Understanding of Cloud System Architectures
• Understanding of internet communications protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, TLS, SignalR)
• Familiarity with user Interface Design and implementation for web and mobile
• Operation of virtualised environments for development and testing
• Understanding of software revision control and Software Development life cycle
• Demonstrated understanding of encryption and secure development practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to function well in a team
