The Total Rewards team develops, implements and maintains company compensation policies and programs. The Senior Compensation Analyst will partner with the business to ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation. This role will engage in work such as job descriptions reviews, conducting job analysis, pricing roles and advising HRBPs and business leaders on best practices for offers and promotion. This role will also serve as the primary point of contact as it relates to compensation programs and processes. This role maintains a working knowledge of federal and state legislation and labor contracts that may affect compensation policies. In addition, this role may partner with other compensation team members to analyze, design and communicate company compensation programs such as salary structures, bonus plans, and stock plans.
What you will do:
Partner with and support a business area to implement and administer compensation policies and programs
Consult on compensation matters with Human Resource Business Partners & Business Leaders
Perform analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives
Formulate recommendations regarding development of company salary structure, job revisions and organizational structures
Prepare special studies and recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, or equity plans
Utilize analytical skills to build standard compensation dashboards that will be used across the company
Audits jobs for content and prepares job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties, and requirements, FLSA recommendation
Recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems
Provide coaching and training to the HR team and managers on compensation topics
Acts as a mentor in area of expertise
Provides organizational level strategic expertise in functional area
What you will need:
5+ years of corporate compensation experience, preferably in a start-up environment.
Advanced Excel skills – Macros, Pivot Tables, etc
Powerpoint & presentation experience
Desire & ability to interact with senior leadership
Strong presentation & facilitation skills
Ability to manage complex job specific projects
Ability to effectively communicate through the written and spoken word to associates, all levels of management & external vendors & clients
Ability to bring diverse groups together to gain consensus
Strong planning and project management skills
What will set you apart:
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience
Experience working at a technology company or start-up
CCP Certification – Certified Compensation Professional
Experience with Workday
Experience with Radford benchmark surveys
