Full Job Description
Responsibilities & Job Description (but not limited to):
- Placing container booking for new orders from customers and booking a sailing date and container for the customers
- Updating shipping date changes, amending container booking by communicating with Supply Chain, Logistics Manager and monitoring stock level & production/packing process
- Arranging containers and loading in two warehouses -Te Puke and Bell Road
- Preparing shipping documents for NZ forwarder, finance team, customer and MPI
- Transferring Stocks from one warehouse to another warehouse
- Arranging samples courier and preparing corresponding documents
- Filing documentation for record and MPI inspection
- Sourcing optimal shipping price and getting a quote if the order requires
- Assisting to train new team members
- During the operation, responding to any other customer’s request and manager
Job Qualifications:
- At least 2-3years of logistics experience in a pet food/ food manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Working knowledge of supply chain, production planning, Material Resource Planning systems and freight Familiarity with import and export transactions.
- Solid analytical skills and computer proficiency.
- Planning: ability to perform short and long-range planning
- SAP or any other ERP software experience
