Job Summary: Responsible for supporting and maintaining compliance with all HSE Management System requirements and regulatory objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Evaluate current HSE programs and activities to ensure compliance with all government agencies and related regulations.
+ Report, monitor, and correct environmental, health and safety hazards/risk.
+ Coach employees on working safely and assist in developing a lasting HSE Culture through our Behavior Base Safe Program.
+ Assist in developing proactive HSE systems, policies, and procedures; development of safety and environmental campaigns, communications, and recognitions in line with division strategies.
+ Determine training requirements and conduct training for managers, supervisors and employees.
+ Schedule all 3rd party trainings as required to ensure compliance with our programs.
+ Conduct compliance inspection on HSE Management System.
+ Aid and review all incident investigations, ensure corrective and preventive actions are appropriate, completed timely and communicate lessons learned.
+ Provide and ensure all HSE reporting is completed, including monthly reporting, contractor prequalification forms, and other requested information.
+ Assist in achieving HSE goals and completing initiatives.
+ Generate HSE performance metrics to measure performance progress and to evaluate HSE and loss prevention program effectiveness.
+ Assist in ensuring timeliness and accuracy of OSHA, DEQ, EPA and other federal and state required recordkeeping and reporting.
+ Work with management, supervisors, and employees with all environmental, health and safety programs, projects, and training as requested.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualification and Education Requirements:
+ Preferred Associates degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or Occupational Health and Safety, or certifications such as; OHST, CHST, or STS from any relevant accredited safety program.
+ 0 to 3+ years related work experience.
+ Working knowledge of HSE management systems.
+ Experience in manufacturing and the oil, gas or petrochemical industries is preferred.
+ Knowledge in the technical fundamentals of safety management and risk assessments and reduction, including machinery and process safety, industrial hygiene, loss prevention, ergonomics and occupational health.

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while managing multiple assignments with strict deadlines.
+ Ability to collaborate with and influence others with conflicting priorities or agendas.
+ Skilled in Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
+ Strong working knowledge of HSE regulations and requirements (including EPA, OSHA, DOT).
