The Opportunity

• Opportunity to join a renowned MNC in the Luxury Beauty industry
• Location: CBD – Hybrid Work Arrangements
• Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
• Salary: Up to $6k
• 6 months contract

The Job

• Supervise the design and development of regional programs and merchandising solutions, technical drawings, and specifications for the installations in the Asia Pacific region. These include counter-testers, display props, and product launch collaterals.
• To support global brand marketing goals, and provide and drive regionally relevant creative direction for VMD.
• Partner with store designers to formulate and apply store-relevant merchandising direction for key retail point of sales – Flagship stores, departmental stores, self-select stores
• Stakeholder management, including Global Teams, Regional Teams, and Affiliate Teams.
• Develop market designs and concepts specifically geared to market needs and conditions.
• Act as the gatekeeper for regional in-store product visual display planograms.
• Review and approve affiliate merchandising plans and shop drawings from external agencies and vendors.
• Vendor management for regional VM production, specifically in the area of design value creation during the production phase. In partnership with the PM function.
• Develop and strengthen regional vendor competencies to meet standards and expectations.
• To liaise and advise affiliate offices within the Asia Pacific region, including project managers, contractors, and vendors, in local production matters and branded VM guidelines.
• Co-Develop “Punch List” (list of deficiencies) for each installation to ensure compliance with global standards and resolve sub-standard construction in order to maintain a high level of quality.

The Talent

• College/University/Diploma graduate in Product and/or Industrial Design preferred or creative with formal training in graphics or visual merchandising and communications.
• Experienced in CAD/CAM and graphics software (preferably Adobe Creative Suite). Able to design & detail scaled working design intent drawings. Adaptable to new computer technology.
• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of relevant industry experience in design documentation (Tester and Merchandising Detailing)
