About the Role

The core of the role is to provide administrative and functional support, ensuring that all internal and external communication is undertaken in a professional manner and maintaining day to day operations.

Some tasks include:

• Interacting closely with external and co-related departments to ensure accountable, timely and cost-effective container pick up, delivery and despatch.
• Co-ordinate with customer in regard to the cargo readiness and arrival time
• Executing and actioning, requests and changes as agreed with the customers
• Support administration supervisor ensuring operational consumable are fully stocked- seals, pallets, cardboard, etc.
• Ensuring EDECs are recorded and raised accurately to meet customer and MPI requirements.
• Providing assistance to the manager ensuring inventory integrity and accuracy through regular inventory checks
• Ensuring accuracy of customer invoicing when entering and finalising receipts and orders into various systems

Skills and Experience

• NCEA Levels 1 & 2
• 3 years plus working experience in a Customer Service role with strong administrative skills
• Intermediate Microsoft skills specifically Excel and Outlook
• 3 years plus in the Freight Industry
• Cargowise experience preferable
