PROJECT DESCRITION IS BASED ON SPECIFIC PROJECT CONTRACT

TASK A: PERFORM FIELD POLE DATA COLLECTION

1. Attend meetings or calls assigned by the Project Manager.

2. Review the Spreadsheet for each pole, to include data collection required for pre-construction inspection response (using the most recent provided map and numbering system).

3. Review desktop search for the location, checking GIS Data available and maps provided.

4. Prepare schedule and field crews plan for the data collection.

5. Prepare Safety Plan for the field work.

6. Travel and maintain safety of tools and equipment.

7. Two Man Field Crew

8. Pole Mapping Data Collection will include the following pole information, saved digitally:

 Pole Size and Class (if Stamp Not Available, determining based on assumption from circumference measurement and height of pole)

 Material of Pole (wood, fiberglass or metal)

 Condition of the Pole (rotten wood, or leaning, vegetation, or damage) 360 degree Photo from (N, E, W, S)

 Photo with CVT Stick (saved in case needing to utilize ocalc software for elevations)

 Lowest Elevation of Power Line (Secondary or Primary) accurately using hot rod

 Note how many Guys and to what line do they connect to

 If Comm lines exist, attempt to determine the tag/owner of the line

 Midspan Elevation using hot rod

 Distance measurements from one pole to the next pole

 Additional items may be determined

9. Fill in and double check field data collected in the field for each pole

10. Prepare comments/notes to share with client and applicant for each pole in the form a formal response

11. Share with Client all documents completed

12. Use only safe and secure Company software. This project will use Smartsheets and Dropbox.

13. other duties as assigned

TASK B – POST CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION

1. Prepare Safety Plan for the field work.

2. Two Man Field Crew

 Check elevation of new attached Vexus Fiber line installed by them either by new attachment or overlash

 Confirm no clearance issues per LP&L standards and requirements

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Self-determined schedule
