Aerotek Hiring for Concrete Finishing Supervisor at Chaska, Minnesota Full Time

Description:

We are looking for a hands-on concrete finisher who can work on a team and perform all the necessary job duties + help lead the team. We’re a versatile masonry contractor, performing award-winning work for both residential and commercial applications – Flat work; Foundations; Masonry; Specialized Work. The work can also be new construction or remodels, so one week we could be pouring concrete for a new parking lot, then the next week we could be repairing pot holes/cracks.

Job duties include:

-Concrete foundation work for commercial/residential buildings: Pouring concrete; Finish concrete

-Install and finish concrete

-Assisting foremen and other skilled labor where necessary

-Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards

-Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding

-Remove, fill or compact earth

-Blueprint reading and work order reading on iPads and Smartphones.

-Good communication with customers

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must haves:

5+ years of construction concrete finishing experience – experience with installation and finishing of concrete

5+ years of leadership experience (doesn’t matter industry)

Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks

Ability to work in seasonal weather conditions

Workers must be punctual and reliable

Proficient with technology

Experience Level:

Expert Level
