Description:
These General Laborers will be supporting the Environmental team at Schnitzer, whose responsible for ensuring that the facility, grounds, and everything on their property is cleaned, maintained, and kept up to date within environmental regulations. Therefore, their primary duties will include:

• Cleaning and sweeping
• Moving materials and scrap metal
• Eliminating debris and waste
• General facility upkeep

Additionally, these people will be responsible for any of the following duties in Schnitzer Steel’s scrap metal yard:

• production
• picking
• loading and unloading shipments
• general cleaning and maintenance
• dispose of trash/debris by sweeping and shoveling
• using pressure washers on the equipment.
• anything else asked of them
