Renowned manufacturing company in Broomfield is looking for experienced assemblers to join their team!
Description:
The Assemblers will be working with mechanical parts at their own station stocked with tools. Duties will consist of building compressors, pumps, and expanders from written instructions and engineered drawings/blueprints. Other responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Work individually with little supervision and work in team cells
Increase organization and efficiency
Read work orders to determine work instructions and jobs to be completed
Mount and wire electro-mechanical components such as controllers and fans
Work with manual and semi-automated wire strippers and crimpers to assemble wired components to an engineering drawing.
Inspect crimp joints to ensure crimp meets specifications
Work closely with engineers and assembly personnel
Document and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Maintain clean and safe production area
Read work orders to determine work instructions and jobs to be completed
Support other areas of assembly and manufacturing as needed
Assist with packaging and preparing product for shipment
Regularly lift 30 lbs. of raw materials or machine parts with or without accommodation
Perform other tasks as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-year experience wiring electrical components and/or mechanical assembly (required)
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
