Aerotek Hiring for Janitor Role ( Pay Rate $19/hr at Vacaville, CA Full Time

Description:
These GMP (Good manufacturing practices) Janitors will be responsible for the inside cleaning of Genentech facilities and/or outside or facility. It is manufacturing environment and they will wear bunny suits. Janitors will get trained to work in the clean room, but may not be in clean room every day, this will depend on the needs of each department and team.

• Janitors will be responsible for the inside cleaning of GMP facilities, others outside.
• Will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanroom manufacturing area.
• They will be required to wear a PPE bunny suit when inside the cleanroom environment and fill out FDA logs.
• Janitors will have a binder with SOP or “Good Documentation Practices”, where they will document and write in real time.
• Different buildings have different sized cleanrooms. While not in cleanroom, janitors will clean tables, break rooms, lunchrooms, doors, mopping floors, taking out the trash, cleaning windows, pushing mops and brooms, restroom cleaning, and sweeping.

Responsibilities Include:

• They will be in the manufacturing area but they will be cleaning around them which is why they need to wear PPE
• Floor care using push mops
• Vacuuming
• stainless steel cleaning
• Sweeping with a broom and mop
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms
• Cleaning or restocking break/lunch rooms
• Removing trash
• Washing windows
• Some maintenance or repair work on facilities or grounds

Additional Skills & Qualifications:MUST HAVES:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak basic English as they will be filling out logs (there will be a literacy test)
• Friendly/Approachable as they might be interacting with people
• MUST HAVE the required attire (khaki (no jeans), tucked in shirt, no headphones

Nice to have:

• 1 year experience any cleaning/janitorial work/general labor in any type of facility (preferred)

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak basic English as they will be filling out logs (there will be a literacy test)
• Willing to submit to DT and BG screening

Must be able to lift min 40 lbs. Must be able to lift, bend and do general labor duties!
