Aerotek Hiring for Machine Operator at Federalsburg, MD Full Time

Aerotek is hiring day shift machine operators for a production facility on the eastern shore. This is a day time 12 hour shift, 2 days on 2 days off. Starting pay is $20-21/hr.

Description:
Performs general preventative maintenance on equipment.

Monitors machines for mechanical problems by listening for unusual noises and visually checking gears, hoses, gauges, materials.

Initiates troubleshooting and solving mechanical problems using small hand tools to make adjustments and minor repairs.

If unsuccessful in making repairs, notifies supervisor and/or maintenance for assistance.

Ensures all materials are available in the department

Follows equipment change procedures and threads rolls into machine

Monitors quality of product being produced and makes routine adjustments to maintain specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have Machine Operators, Production experience and prior warehouse or equipment operation is a plus. Will be performing change-over and set-up duties when requested. Experience as a mechanic in the following industries; manufacturing, automotive, production, or distribution is a huge plus as well.
