Aerotek Hiring for Press Operator **2000 Sign On Bonus** at Norwalk, Ohio Full Time

Description:

2nd Shift: 3:30 – 12:30am $19

3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:00am $19

• Operation of manual presses and proper stacking of parts

• Understand and ensure the safe operation of the presses and other similar equipment

• Abide by all company safety policies

• Follow all applicable ISO standards & procedures to ensure quality standards are met

• Demonstrate understanding of equipment by completion of 30 day training form

• Recognize concerns and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Perform departmental tasks as assigned by the Stamping Supervisor or Group Leader

• Perform basic set ups and changeovers with team lead

• Operating presses anywhere from 500 tons to 1,000 tons

• Reading and interpreting basic work instructions and work orders

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical understanding is preferred

• Must complete all required safety training

• Ability to work independently or with a group

• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Willing to learn new skills

• Must be able read and comprehend instructions

• Able to work overtime as needed
