AFFCO Looking for Night Shift Industrial Cleaner at Wanganui, Manawatu-Wanganui Full Time

AFFCO is one of New Zealand’s leading manufacturers of premium beef and lamb products. We currently have an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our night shift cleaning team based at our Imlay plant in Whanganui.

Reporting to the Nightshift Cleaning Supervisor, this role is focused on post-operation cleaning processes throughout the site to ensure compliance and all necessary standards are maintained. A Night Cleaner is expected to handle various chemical’s and clean anywhere on site. Appropriate Personal protective equipment (PPE ) and training is provided. There are some areas on site that will require you to be agile – both in your thinking and physically.

Key requirements include:

• Being a friendly, approachable team-player
• A good work ethic and a can-do attitude
• A proven track record of being reliable and punctual
• Demonstrating excellent time management
• Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised
• Adherence to Health and safety requirements including the correct wearing of PPE.

No experience required. Industrial cleaning experience is advantageous; alternatively, experience in a manufacturing-type environment would also be considered.
