We have a great opportunity for you to join AEI in an Automation Engineer role in our Gainesville, FL ffice.
In this role, you will be responsible for automation systems, will interface with several types of equipment and systems including but not limited to PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, Servers, Databases, and other control system equipment. You will provide technical guidance and support for internal technicians and engineers, as well as support for contracted projects. In addition, you will participate in design, optimization, commissioning, or validation of newly procured or existing equipment as the automation lead. You will also support facility commissioning and validation efforts.
What you will need to Succeed:
Three years of experience in automation role, preferably in pharmaceutical environment.
Bachelor degree in engineering, HVAC, computer science, or a related STEM or technical field (preferred).
High School Diploma with proof of technical certifications or classes.
Strong leadership, technical, communication and organization skills in a cross-functional, dynamic, teamwork environment.
