The Senior Angular Developer collaborates with developers and designers to translate designs into functional web pages that improve the user experience for Empowered’s applications and other projects. He/She also researches and maintains modern development solutions and testing (both initial browser and regression testing.)

Primary responsibilities

• Develop, test and deliver high quality software/solutions

• Correct defects and implement new features

• Provide direct estimates, including time and percentage of project completion

• Isolate and correct complex problems at a subsystem level

• Perform quality checks to ensure design integrity at various stages of development

• Additional duties as assigned by management.

Skills/Knowledge

• Can implement complex enhancements with little assistance

• Strong communication skills – verbal and written

• Can work in occasional high-pressure situations with tight deadlines

• Strong problem solving and organizational skills

• Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Angular 5+ Proficiency with GIT, SASS/SCSS, RxJs, and NGRx/NgXs as preferred, but not required.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or have equivalent work experience

• 6+ years experience in web development
