- Build a modern Android app using Kotlin and Jetpack
- Practice software engineering techniques and the craft of programming to help maintain a strong engineering culture
- Use agile techniques of Software Delivery
- Work in cross-functional product team responsible for the discovery, delivery and validation of product features via design and feature implementation
- Peer reviewing design decisions, code, automated tests and documentation
- Collaborate with the team to build beautiful and reliable feature implementations that will delight our customers
- Supporting what you build
Who are you?
Like us, you’ll be obsessed with our product. You’ll get a kick out of seeing and feeling the impact of your work as more and more people gain financial freedom and retailers grow across the globe. You will also be or possess:
3+ years of experience of Android software engineering, preferably using Kotlin
Bring a “Get Stuff Done” attitude, being challenged and solving problems
A naturally curious and self-driven individual who can collaborate with other engineers
You have a product mindset and are familiar with Lean / MVP product practices
You are energised by the prospect of delivering value to customers
Demonstrate start-up focus; be responsible for whole features
Solid understanding of how to build testable, decoupled, maintainable code
Experience with Kotlin Coroutine and Flow (bonus)
Experience with GraphQL (bonus)Understanding of API integration technologies: REST, JSON and security
Having exposure to Continuous Delivery will be highly regarded
Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or matching experience
