As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Architectural Graduate or Junior Architect with some practical experience to join our dynamic team.

Role Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with the design team to create concept designs, development plans, and architectural drawings that align with client requirements and project objectives.

– Conduct design research, analyse site conditions, and provide creative solutions to design challenges.

– Prepare and present design proposals, including concept design and rendering.

– Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of architectural projects.

– Prepare project documentation and drawings, specifications collate manufacturer’s information for Building Consent, pricing and construction.

– Be confident in communicating and collaborating with team members, clients, and consultants.

– Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and sustainable design practices, and apply them to our projects.

Qualifications:

– A degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

– A minimum of 3-4 years of local and relevant experience in architectural design, documentation, and knowledge of NZ Building Code & Standards.

– Proficient in Revit, Enscape, and SketchUp.

– Strong design and visualization skills, with a keen eye for detail.

– Mid-rise multi-unit residential new build and alteration and/or remedial experience is preferable.

– Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.

– A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

– This position is only available to applicants legally permitted to work in New Zealand.
