Air New Zealand Looking for Aircraft Cleaner / Trade Assistant at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

Our Auckland Aircraft Maintenance team currently have a number of permanent positions available for Aircraft Maintenance Trade Assists to join our team. These are shift positions.

In this role you will be providing trade assistance to the Auckland Maintenance Team during routine aircraft maintenance; these include but not limited to aircraft washes, aircraft polishes, paint stripping, component cleaning, and other defined tasks during labour intensive periods on the Air New Zealand fleet and customer aircraft.

We are looking for someone that is committed to a safe workplace, is passionately customer focused and who is comfortable working as part of a team. You’ll be required to meet compliance and company legislative/regulatory standards. Strong communication skills are critical, as well as the ability to relate and interact with a wide range of people on a day-to-day basis.

Preferred attributes for the position are:

• Experience in an Aircraft Maintenance environment
• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• A commitment to Health and Safety
• Undertake shift work across a 24-hour operation
• Work in a strong team-orientated environment and be passionate about the role you do in delivering our Air New Zealand services.
