The Focus Of The Role
Student administration, student selection, course support, tech support and event management activities – this role truly has it all.
Airways Training delivers corporate and air traffic controller training for Airways as well as international customers. You will be part of the AIL Training team, helping the business to thrive. Your role includes supporting our students both domestic and international, who study here in NZ or overseas; assisting with selection of our future air traffic controllers; maintaining records in our student management system; coordinating events; supporting our instructors and course delivery; undertaking administrative services to keep things running smoothly; and supporting the wider AIL team. You will have a varied role with focuses that change throughout the year based on business priorities.
Your Skills And Experience
You will need to be a savvy user of the MS suite of tools. Of course, planning, prioritisation and organisation will all be part of your core skill set. However, you will also have the cultural sensitively to engage with our global population of students and the interpersonal skills to fit with our fast-paced environment. We don’t expect you to know everything, as you will be given the training to build your skills and have access to learning opportunities to enhance your current skill set.
