About The Role
We are looking for a Modern Desktop Engineer at any level (Systems, Senior, Principal) to join our talented and supportive infrastructure team based in Christchurch, and we encourage candidates with a range of experience and backgrounds within the desktop Engineer field to apply.
As the Modern Desktop Engineer, you will have ownership and contribute to the growth of Airways’ end user device capabilities while maintaining a safe and secure operating environment for all corporate staff. Establishing a comprehensive test environment and process for modern device management will be a crucial part of your responsibilities, ensuring that no changes are made to the production environment without thorough testing in a controlled environment.
You will play a key role in leading and supporting the infrastructure team in their day-to-day activities and project-related tasks, and responsible for ensuring the continuous availability, recoverability, and stability of all Airways’ end user computing devices throughout the organization. This position requires regular monitoring of errors and alerts related to Intune and modern application tooling. Additionally, you will provide support to senior engineering staff and offer coverage when necessary.
