Resource Planning Lead

Airways provides air traffic management services across 30 million square kilometres – this is one of the largest areas of airspace in the world. Within New Zealand, we operate aerodrome control services and flight information services in 19 locations throughout the country.
First and foremost, we enable air traffic management, keeping travellers safe in the skies. Beyond this, the smart technologies we employ bring a real difference to our airline and airport customers.
About The Role
Joining our Programme and Project Delivery team, this role will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery and execution of effective resource plans and strategies for the whole of the Technology Group and for Airways. This includes working collaboratively to establish robust short-term to long-term resourcing plans and ensuring optimal use of all Technology Group resources.
You will be based in either Auckland or Christchurch but travel to other regions for shorter trips may be required depending on requirements. Services will typically be provided during normal business hours, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
About You: It goes without saying that the successful candidate will have expert influencing and persuading techniques and strategies with extensive experience working in complex rostering and resource planning environments, preferably across a highly structured and unionised workforce. Proven experience identifying and delivering improvements in operational performance and optimising workforce planning and rosters will put you one-step ahead of the pack.
