The Role

Reporting to the Production Team Lead this role will see you responsible for all processes involved in the manufacture of GIB® plasterboard. You will ensure that all duties are carried out correctly and safely and that all product released for distribution meet manufacturing and quality standards and specifications. In addition to this you will:

• Carry out all quality tests and checks accurately and correctly.
• Ensure pallet labels have accurate information and pallets packed safely
• Follow safe work practices and make sure you are trained before you use any equipment or undertake anything unfamiliar
• Develop and support a customer service focus in all activities
• Carry out all stock takes accurately and as required to achieve the performance goals.

About You:

To be successful in this role you have experience working in an industrial production environment coupled with a high level of mechanical ability, in addition to this you will have;

• A trade certification (preferred but not essential)
• A fork hoist license and at least 2 years’ experience operating a fork hoist
• Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously
• The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy
• Dedication to fostering a strong culture of health and safety
