Alberta Lacrosse Association Hiring for Administrative Assistant Job at Remote Full Time

As the Administrative Assistant you are the first point-of-contact of the Alberta Lacrosse Association (ALA). You will provide administrative support in the day-to-day operations of the Association and delivery of programming. You will report to and work closely with the Executive Director to ensure the smooth operation of ALA teams, programs, and meetings. Occasional travel within the province may be required.

STATUS: Full-time, permanent
LOCATION: Remote within Alberta
SALARY: $45,000-$50,000
REPORTS TO: Executive Director

EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

• Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field supplemented by a minimum of two years related administrative support experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google, and Zoom.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms, specifically Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• A high degree of professionalism and initiative, and the proven ability to work unsupervised.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and foster effective working relationships.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Well-developed time management and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud an asset.
• Working knowledge of RAMP an asset.
• Knowledge of and experience in the sport of lacrosse an asset.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, including, but not limited to:

• Booking facilities for ALA programming/teams.
• Coordinating meeting logistics.
• Coordinating contract staff for programs.
• Managing registrations.
• Ordering supplies and apparel.
• Booking travel accommodations.
• Communications and marketing support.
• Administrative support to the Executive Director as required.
• Manage public inquiries.
