ALDI Hiring for Front End Developer Job at New South Wales, Australia Full Time

A fantastic and high impact opportunity for a Front End Developer has become available within the Strategic Decision Support team (BI team) of ALDI stores, based in Minchinbury, NSW. This is a full time permanent position.

The purpose of a Front End Developer is to create high-value Tableau dashboard solutions which support specific business needs and objectives, creating actionable insights for the target audience to drive outcomes for the business. A Front End Developer embodies the values of ALDI and acts as an enabler of value-add dialogue, with a higher purpose to support the business in the delivery of high value outcomes.

As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for partnering with senior stakeholders across Store and Warehouse Operations, Property, Procurement and Customer Interactions to deliver and develop a comprehensive suite of reporting and dashboards; assisting the business in providing actionable insights.

Experience in dashboard modelling and reporting development is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate highly analytical, critical and holistic thinking across a variation of departments and reporting objectives.

Selection criteria:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a PowerBI or Tableau Developer role
• Tertiary education within Data, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related is highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience in transforming and improving business reporting
• Demonstrated experience in applying data management and analytics methodologies
• Current PowerBI, Tableau or Alteryx certification is highly regarded
• Excellent capabilities in communicating effectively to a variation of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Programming experience is a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Creation of dashboard and reporting suites for a broad range of national departments
• Collate, extract and manage data from multiple sources to bring together insights and cleansing data as required to ensure the integrity of data
• Builds and maintains effective relationships with key stakeholders across functions and within the BI team
• Present Tableau dashboards and reports to stakeholders across all levels from within the Business and BI team
• Processing of demands that include touchpoints with the broader Business Intelligence team
• Ensuring development output is robust and reliable and adheres to agreed design guidelines and principles
• Drives the implementation of innovations and new functionalities in the reporting solution
