Job Title: Receptionist / Reprographics Technician
Reporting to: Executive Assistant to the Principal
Contract Basis 37 hours, term time and inset days plus 2 weeks
Salary: SP5 – 6 £19,560 – £20,043 (pro-rata £17,527 – £17,960)
Working hours: 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 3pm on Friday
Overall purpose of the role:
The post-holder will provide high level customer service both face to face and on the phone/email. The post-holder will have responsibility for specific tasks and projects such as reproducing documents to support various departments across the academy.
Key Duties:
- To take the lead with all reprographic duties (printing for he academy, creating booklets and posters etc.) and manage the reprographics requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Produce Reprographics, learning, teaching and professional development resources.
- To maintain existing reprographics equipment and supplies
- To oversee the ‘front of house’ area and ensure all visitors receive a warm welcome.
- To always project a professional image of the College.
- Answer and direct all incoming phone calls.
- Process and distribute incoming post and frank outgoing post.
- Maintain the general email account responding to queries/directing enquiries as required.
- Issue ID passes for students, staff and visitors.
- Assist in the upkeep of student and staff records, ensuring all safeguarding checks are completed for agency staff
- Organise and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information.
- Order stationary and first aid equipment.
- Use a range of software including email, spreadsheets, SIMS and other databases.
- Assist with the management of student lockers and keys.
- Assist with organising meeting rooms and ordering refreshments when required.
- Typing, emailing, filing, photocopying, data entry and other administrative tasks.
Other Responsibilities:
