About the role:

We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our IT Digital team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Software Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for the technical activities associated with delivering Digital solutions, working within our existing team.

Duties:

• Contributing to the continuous evolution of the Digital platform architecture
• Working as an active and proactive participant in an Agile delivery team
• Ensuring test automation is consistently practiced and leveraged as a key delivery enabler
• Production support and monitoring
• Supporting the Retail business and Digital product owners in delivering the required solutions

Skills and experience:

• Experience in .NET, API Development, .NET Core
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (internally and externally)
• Ability to understand and adapt new technologies and concepts
• Experience working in an Agile delivery team
• Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment

This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Software Engineer who is eager and enthusiastic to learn continuously, a strong team player and a candidate who is self-driven to work in a team oriented, professional environment. You will be a key support member of the Digital IT team and have exposure and oversight to a diverse range of IT commercial matters.
