Allergy, Asthma and Sinus Center, PC Hiring for Medical Receptionist Job at Sumter, SC Full Time

Busy allergy practice located in Sumter, SC. Looking to hire the right person with 2-3 years experience to fill the following responsibilities: 32-hour work week (Tues. – Fri.)

Perform the typical duties of greeting patients at the front desk, scheduling appointments, patient registration, managing and updating patient records, scanning patient documents, verifying insurances, answering phone calls, check in and check out patients, collecting payments, patient reminders of appointments, referrals, faxing, Allscripts PM and Allscripts EHR.

Experience required for the following duties: Customer Service, verifying insurances including Tricare, and referrals. Experience preferred in Allscripts PM and medical terminology. Knowledge in allergy medicine, a plus.
