As a Management Accountant and part of our Finance team, you will work across multiple business units, geographies and companies so having an adaptable and flexible approach to work is a must. You will thrive in a fast paced and dynamic role and be a solid team player who is comfortable working collaboratively but also knows when to have their head down to get stuck in.

Our finance team isn’t your regular finance team. In this role you would have interactions with almost every part of this business so communication skills and liking people is a must!

This role is suited to someone who likes working in a fun & social environment, understands the importance of team work, demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, enjoys a challenge and solving problems.

The key duties and responsibilities will include the following (but will not be limited to):

• Preparing and providing accurate monthly management accounts
• Assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting
• Preparing payroll on a fortnightly basis for one of our entities
• Reporting monthly KPIs to the regional lead team and providing sales analysis to our national sales team
• Assisting with the annual audit
• Responsible of managing the Accounts Receivable function for one of our entities
• Lead the monthly stock-take process

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

• 3 years + experience in a similar role
• CA Qualified or working towards CA
• Excellent planning and time management;
• An understanding of NZ IFRS, NZ payroll and tax law, and
• The ability to navigate various types of accounting software;
• Strong excel skills
