About the role

As the Allpress Go category Manager reporting to the Director of Brand and Marketing and working closely with our Regional teams, you will oversee all product and project plans within grocery, petrol and convenience category to ensure growth and best positioning within the market. The role covers but is not limited to:

• Overseeing all projects and products end to end, within the Allpress GO category to ensure the success of the go-to market strategy and category expansion.
• Manage Allpress products across all external channels such as FMCG, convenience, petrol stations and digital channels.
• Plan, manage and review product performance and promotional calendars across all regions ensuring targets are achieved.
• Organise and lead all product related project meetings globally across Allpress and Asahi integration teams.
• Manage projects for all NPD’s going to market and associated activities across their lifecycle.
• Lead consumer insights to inform product innovation and devise long term development strategies for product categories as well as forecasting to ensure sustainability of inventory to meet consumer demand.
• Develop annual marketing schedules with marketing managers across Asahi and Allpress working towards growth goals
• Build great relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our global growth goals are met across all activities such as:

1. Collaborate with buyers and merchandiser’s to expand product categories and enhance promotion;
2. Liase with marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category as well as positioning to maximise visibility;
3. Work with sales teams to determine optimal pricing through trend analysis in the market

About you

We’re looking for an Auckland based Category Manager with a strong sense for premium brands. You’ll be a bit of a Swiss army knife, in that you’ll be solutions focused, thrive operating in a small team and hold the ability to engage with buyers and inspire those around you to our purpose and mission. Instinctively attuned to our vision, and with a warm and friendly energy, to nail this role you’ll need:

• Proven FMCG category management experience.
• The ability to produce strong go to market plans + pitch decks.
• Strong data and reporting skills to develop strategies based on your findings.
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to facilitate, negotiate and inspire internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong time management, business writing, organsiation skills and attention to detail.
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• Boutique/premium brand experience.
• Digital marketing experience would be a plus.
