AllSTEM Connections Looking for Full Stack Developer at Chicago, IL Full Time

Work Permit: US Citizen, Green Card (only on W2)

Schedule: Hybrid – 9/80 work schedule, Hybrid work mode with standard office hours 8-5

Location – Jersey City, New Jersey and Chicago, IL

6 months Contract to direct hire opportunity

Responsibilities:

Proficient in Full Stack Development as well as multiple design techniques

• Working proficiency in Full Stack toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks
• Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
• Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines and demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of

Software

Skills:

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Excellent Java / software design and development skills.

Experience with industry standard java application frameworks (such as spring/springboot) and rich internet javascript frameworks (such as Angular)

Solid database (SQL) skills. Experience with Oracle and managing a mix of relational and unstructured data a plus.

Experience With Cloud (Kubernetes) And Messaging (Kafka) Technologies Preferred.

Buy-in to team based development (Scrum) and shared ownership / responsibility for code
