Alpha Recruitment Looking for Clinical Nurse Specialist at Titirangi, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

Our client is a not-for-profit organisation, who provides health and social services to the wider Counties Manukau area. They’re growing faster than they can keep up with, with now 250 employees and counting. Their Clinical Nurse specialist is sadly leaving and we’re looking for someone special to fill her shoes.

This is an exciting initiative supporting young māmā, pēpi and tamariki; beginning in pregnancy and through the first 5-years of life, with a whānau-whānui approach.

This role is based in Mangere, is full-time permanent and you must have a mix of Paediatric, Well Child/ child protection/ family harm/ social risk or community nursing experience of 5 years+. You will be working with a tight-knit team of 2 x Nurses, 3 x Social Workers and the Team Lead in our office

You will be joining a fantastic team, who share the same common passion for their community. Your team will feel like family. If you have a knowledge of Maori customs and ideologies AND lactation consultant experience, we want to hear from you!

To Be Successful In This Role

• Have pediatric and/or Well Child experience
• Have experience working alongside whānau with a multicultural background
• Be a Registered Nurse, hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate and relevant indemnity insurance
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily with people from all walks of life
• Be flexible in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
• Full Driver’s Licence, as this position is community-based
