Alter Trading Corporation Hiring for Front End Loader Operator at Waterloo, IA Full Time

Alter Trading Corporation Company, privately held company with several scrap metal processing facilities throughout the Midwest and Southern region, is searching for a Front End Loader Operator at its Waterloo, Iowa.

Hours: Monday through Friday, Day Shift works 6am – 4:30pm, Saturdays possible based on operational needs.

Summary:

Mainly operates a Front End Loader, but could be asked to operate other heavy equipment including wheel loader and articulating dump truck. Loading and/or unloading trucks, semis, rail cars with material, and sorting material in yard.

• Load the feed hopper
• Load outbound trucks
• Load containers and open top trucks with outbound materials
• Responsible for loading the correct materials
• Help direct traffic and help truck drivers delivering material to correct bunkers
• Push up piles to keep all products and feed materials speratate
• Must have experiance operating a Front-End Loader and/or other heavy material handling equipment.

Safety:

Wears all necessary PPE when working in the yard. Follows company safety standards at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour
