Altima Dental Canada Hiring for Patient Coordinator Job at Mississauga Full Time

The team at Altima Dundas Square Dental Centre are looking for a passionate, hard-working Patient Coordinator on a Part-time basis.

The Patient Coordinator will be primarily responsible for optimizing patient experience through coordinating and facilitating all patient appointments from the time of booking, to patient arrival, and finally to patient check-out at the end of appointment. The person we are looking for enjoys interacting with patients, to build loyalty with the dental practice but more importantly to promote the benefits of patient ownership in following their treatment plan.

• Develop and maintain records of insurance plans and social services programs to maximize patient access to dental care funding.
• Maintain patient relations through ongoing dialogue with patients before, during and after treatment.
• Identify and respond to unsatisfied patients with the appropriate recovery action.
• Share needed information with others in a timely and efficient manner.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Successfully completed a recognized Medical Office Administration or Dental Reception program is preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of customer service and/or dental reception experience preferred
• Availability requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Superior organizational ability.
• Can effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
• Disciplined in timely reporting and follow up with patients, insurers.
