Who you are
With over 450 users in the system globally and dozens of integrations, we are looking for a Salesforce Administrator who will work as part of the Altus Group Salesforce team in Toronto. You will be dedicated to ensuring that we are maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features and benefits of the system based on the various user group needs.
We are seeking someone with excellent technical and communication skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs to administer and enhance the system accordingly. You will serve as salesforce administrator that is involved in all daily activities, as well as ongoing projects.
Given the current situation, you would start off working remotely and then transition into a hybrid position.

Here’s what our Salesforce Administrator will do:
Maintain/Administer
Proactively seek out and identify needed system changes.
Proactively gather feedback from users.
Communicate system changes to the users in advance so they understand the change and how to use it prior to implementation.
Gather requirements from end users.
Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, campaigns and other salesforce.com objects and functions.
Assist in defining workflows, functions and configurations within the Salesforce.com environment.
Create new reporting capabilities and respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
Provide support functions as needed.
Provide sales and financial data to company executives.
Map salesforce.com hierarchy and territories in response to employee changes.
Reassign Accounts, Contacts, and Opportunities in response to employee changes.
Grant/ remove and maintain user licenses.
Maintain System, Security and Integrity
Maintain security including sharing rules and security levels.
Create and maintain user roles, profiles and hierarchies.
Create and administer training to existing or new users/groups.
Provide one to one training to end users on an on-going basis.
Assist sales management to create processes in salesforce.com to help monitor activities, trends, sales and leads.
Communicate regularly with user base regarding new features, enhancements and changes to the system.
Continually seek ways to further enhance the end-user experience.
Process Creation, Documentation and Maintenance
Document company processes and workflows.
Create process documentation and field maps.
Data Quality, Migration and Maintenance
Assist with migration from older systems/processes into Salesforce.com.
Monitor neglected Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, and Contacts as appropriate.
Import data as appropriate.
Monitor and manage exception logs for back end system integration with SFDC.
Assist to define / create reports and dashboards as required.
Our new Salesforce Administrator will have:
An ideal combination of education and experience. You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. You have successfully achieved your Salesforce Administrator certification. You have +2 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience
An expansive range of technical skills. You have in-depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of SFDC and have successfully helped in the rollout and support of a large Salesforce organization
A team-oriented personality. You can quickly build relationships and work closely with internal process teams, developers, users, and management
A winning communication style. You are concise, on point, and effective. You can communicate technical details clearly to any level of audience
The data integration know how.
Understanding of the Salesforce ERD
Proficiency in basic SQL
Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ is an asset.
