This role is primarily a business partnership role to help leadership prioritize the Product Roadmap for a 1000+ person technology organization.Do you enjoy financial modelling or have extensive experience creating business cases for white space opportunities that push the envelope on innovation? If so, this role could be a perfect fit!Key Responsibilities:* Financial modelling and validation of potential investment opportunities for the AFT Product Roadmap* Partner with AFT Leadership team to support key decision-making* Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs.* You make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where the data may be scarce or difficult to procure* Proven ability to influence decisions through effective verbal and written communication* Help identify and define key metrics for success in order to influence business performance and to ensure accountability across stakeholder groups* BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) or equivalent.* Minimum 5+ years of finance experience, or master’s degree and three years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.* Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)* BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) or equivalent* Minimum 5+ years of finance experience, or master’s degree and two years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience* MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) preferred* Project and/or Program management skills and experience is a plusAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
