Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a best-in-class Software Development Engineer for the Network Availability Engineering (NAE) organisation in Sydney.

The Pathfinders team within the NAE organisation, owns a platform that vends graph based representations of the Amazon global network. This graph is vended to core network automation systems and teams, providing a single, authoritative source of topological information for everything to do with the network. Software Development Engineers in this team will work hand-in-hand with Network Engineering and Network Operations teams to invent new ways of operating Amazon’s Next-Generation Networks, providing real time views of the state of the entire network.

Key job responsibilities

• You will need to adopt and champion software engineering best practices, across the entire software development life cycle; including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
