Enhance and enrich the clients public facing Sitecore website through projects, enhancements
and maintenance.
 Enhance and enrich clients custom built micro service framework, web and desktop
application suite in line with clients enterprise architecture and industry best practices;
 To provide technical expertise to the business in all aspects of software development including
release and delivery management with a focus on minimising business risk;
 To introduce new and innovative approaches to software development in line with technological
advancements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities and Duties of the
role
 Participate in peer reviews, assist other team members and always ensure that development
adheres to the application development framework
 Research and communicate emerging technologies that could provide significant performance and
functional improvements to new and existing applications within the company
 Investigate industry leading and best practice approaches in software development to ensure high
levels of service and quality are delivered to the business
 Analyse, design and develop solutions to complex business problems using the .Net framework and
Microsoft technology stack for deployment both on premise and in the Azure cloud.
 Analyse, design and develop both internal and public facing web front end solutions using HTML,
CSS, JavaScript and other well known client frameworks such as Angular and jQuery.
 Design and develop scalable and testable software using object oriented principles, design patterns
and practises
 Support automation testing practices and keep testing environment healthy (green) by use of unit
tests, integration tests and UI testing.
 Develop and uplift Clients continuous integration and continuous delivery suite.
 Produce well-articulated solution designs and technical specifications to meet the requirements
defined by the business
