Job Summary

Amentum is looking for a highly motivated Financial Analyst to provide financial support to NSWC PHD Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and prepare financial analyses and forecasts

• Generate management tools to effectively control programs

• Generate reports documenting findings and conduct research into procurement practices and assess/implement improvements to, or compliance with, acquisition procedures

• Prepare computerized programs utilizing commercial software to manage tasks

• Maintain database to produce monthly financial reports

• Track, process, and distribute deliverables and monitor comment status

• Conduct research and prepare financial analyses and forecasts

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business and at least 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent

• Practical experience providing financial support services in a team environment

• Experience generating and analyzing financial reports (advanced Excel skills required)

• Experience managing funding, reporting on financial status, and projecting resource requirements

• Experience documenting team activities and accomplishments

• Active secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Good written communication skills; working knowledge of word processing/advanced Excel and integrated software applications; organizational skills

• Experience developing spending plan budgets and providing analysis of actual expenditures and level of effort against budgets and contract

• Participated in cost proposal development
