We are seeking an Associate Marketing Manager to join the Golf Division at Wilson Sporting Goods. By supporting all marketing initiatives including marketing communications, digital content and experiential events, this position will directly contribute to Company goals of enhancing the brand’s connection with golfers at all levels while delivering the best high-performance golf equipment in the world.

On a day-to-day business, the Associate Marketing Manager will be involved in a wide variety of marketing and communication initiatives ranging from the management of experiential activities to the creation of social media assets and content.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supports and helps execute Wilson Golf cross-channel digital marketing strategies end-to-end, from ideation and content creation to optimization and reporting.

  • Supports and helps manage experiential events including trade shows, demo events, and in-field training.

  • Manages field programs like the Wilson Advisory Staff program and point-of-sale programs from development, to procurement, to distribution and reporting on program KPIs.

  • Participates in the monthly digital marketing & social media content calendar development that aligns with overall marketing initiatives and goals.

  • Works with the golf marketing team, creative team, photographers & videographers to manage and develop brand and campaign assets (e.g. photo, video, stop-motion, graphics) that align with our brand guidelines, including bringing data-driven insights regarding high-performing content and industry trends into the mix on social media and on Wilson.com properties.

  • Collaborates with the marketing, community, social media and paid media teams to execute social media influencer/affiliate relationships including coordination of campaigns and reporting on performance.

  • Works with internal E-commerce team and content managers to support best-in-class editorial storytelling that aligns with social media initiatives and brand marketing objectives.

  • Assists with brand copywriting needs, including social media and digital messaging, blog content, and product descriptions for golf products.

  • Follows brand and editorial standards and ensures overall accuracy and quality of content.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related area and 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing & brand management. Qualified candidates should bring broad experience in the sport of golf either through a personal playing background or years working in or around the sport of golf. Handicap is not a factor, but knowledge of the game is.

Other qualifications include:

  • Excellent written/verbal, time management and quantitative/analytical skills

  • Advanced Power Point skills – from content development to professional, streamlined formatting

  • Digital and Social Media experience a must

  • Consumer Mindset – ability to design and execute consumer facing marketing strategies against business opportunities and trends in the marketplace

  • Self-Motivated – empowered to take initiative & ownership, developing new programs and strategies, continually looking for ways to improve processes and platforms

  • Creative Problem Solver – high level of creativity, both with problem-solving and program development

  • Self-starter with the confidence to take action, push projects forward and bring concepts and creative thinking forward for consideration
