Job Summary
Admissions LPN Full Time postion with every other weekend required. The Admissions LPN is responsible for admitting all incoming patients from greeting them in the admissions department to admitting them to the unit. This position assesses patients,conducts precertification evaluations, and implements specific detoxification protocols, as designated by the Medical Director. The LPN is also responsible for recording and administering all medications prescribed to clients. Must follow all policies and procedures for clinical documentation.

Ability to read, write, communicate and understand directions in English.
Demonstrates accuracy in taking manual vital signs. Strong interpersonal skills are required to gather information from individuals, build relationships, intervene in difficult situations and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to prioritize, organize and multitask.
Computer literate.
Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
Knowledge of addiction and chemical dependency.
Ability to use defibrillation equipment.
Must have excellent nursing skills.
Experience working in detox, addiction, and mental health environments is preferred.
LPN license and CPR certification required.
