Proofreader – Marketing Department

What you will do

• Ensure accuracy of content, spelling, and grammar for a variety of digital and printed material pertaining to events
• Monitor consistency of all material within ACS’s style and established guidelines
• Copyedit as needed to maintain clarity and consistency in tone
• Fact-check for accuracy of content and product images
• Confirm print specs and layout
• Review of final document proofs for accuracy
• Manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment and easily adapt to changing priorities

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field
• Experience in print production / proofing a plus
• Proficient in AP Style
• Passion for reading and writing
• Check spelling, grammar, punctuation, and facts quickly and accurately
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Flexibility and openness to take on new projects and tasks and work in a growing company
