American Express Global Business Travel Hiring for Online Booking Tool Analyst at Remote Full Time
Position Summary:
The Online Booking Tool Analyst will be responsible for providing support for AMEX GBT Online Booking Tools to external and internal clients in relation to American Express Global Business Travel products and processes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, aiding with the product including maintenance, implementations or escalations, interact with AMEX GBT client management and our customers to provide consultation around technology and functionality. Leverage project management and analytical skills to support multiple programs and projects.
This is a virtual position and can sit anywhere in the United States.
Accountabilities:
- Provide ongoing updates on reported issues as needed to ensure understanding and timely completion
- Research and resolve escalated online booking tool issues
- Interface with clients, CGM’s and all AMEX GBT technology groups that support the online booking tools
- Generates creative ideas to ensure product is used effectively
- Gathers and shares best practices across clients and segments
- Uses analytical and creative approach to condense large amounts of information into a clear, concise, effective format
- Drives results by operating with a sense of urgency, employing effective time management to deliver results within deadlines Skills/Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of the Business Travel Industry
- Existing experience with AMEX GBT online booking tools (Deem, Concur, GetThere), including maintenance, issue resolution and consultation
- Experience with Expert Auditor and Portal highly desired
- Strong PowerPoint skills with high proficiency in Excel, Word, etc
- Exceptional Phone Support skills (Soft Skills) – able to speak clearly and definitively
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility
- Good understanding of travel related data
- Ability to analyze & assess raw data to draw meaningful conclusions
- Interaction and communication with diverse working styles, ability to build and leverage strong working relationships
- Strong Project Management and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands to meet deadlines
- Adaptation to change and new direction on short notice
- Ability to identify issues or challenges requiring escalation
- Ability to balance compliance with company initiatives
- Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure of client driven deliverables / demands
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Location
United States – Virtual Location
The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $46,000 to $93,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual Performance Based Incentive, which rewards participants based on company performance, one of our metric-driven Sales Incentive Plans (certain direct sales roles only), or one of our Client Management Incentive Award (CMIA) programs. An eligible employee can only participate in one of these plans during an eligible period.
