Job Description
As an American Express GBT Quality Representative, you will join a dedicated team of other highly skilled Travel Counselors who provide exceptional traveler care to GBT corporate clients. This exceptional, high touch service will create a positive experience that will leave your travel clients truly impressed. You will be accountable for both individual and shared team goals, responsible for providing customer service and accurate completion of both international, domestic travel arrangements and special requests.

- Process exchanges and Phase IV using SABRE & APOLLO Knowledge of Travel Expert.
- Provide quality control analysis and PNR documentation requirement review to ensure customer reporting and PNR accuracy
- Working inter-departmentally with colleagues to provide feedback on errors, and process enhancements required by the client or GBT reporting.
- Use positive telephone service techniques; act on special customer requests and maintain excellent client relations
- Coach, develop and mentor more junior Travel Counselors in the team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 + years Corporate Travel industry experience required/Internally 2+ years experience with high performance
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- SABRE & APOLLO GDS system proficiency is required.
- Self Starter with strong technical knowledge
- Ability to work with minimum supervision within a self direct team
- Solid performance goals including: strong productivity and low cost of poor quality
- Ability to create strong internal network
- Ability to multi task
- Proficient in processing exchanges/Phase IV
- Ability to support Specialty Desks
- Strong international and domestic travel skills
- Ability to work independently, combined with creative problem solving skills
- Work in an organized manner, utilizing established procedures to meet or exceed predetermined performance standards
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of Excel a plus
- Flexible to work any shift between 8a-7pm
- Must be willing to accept change on a daily basis
- Attention to detail is a MUST
Location
United States – Virtual Location
The US national hourly wage range for this position is from $18.00 to $36.00 per hour. The national range provided includes the hourly rate that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual hourly wage rate will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
