Amp is looking for a Front End Developer to support our teams across a number of projects. Front End Developers at Amp share a passion for learning new things and apply those learnings to help our clients succeed. They work with cross-functional teams to create highly engaging web pages, apps, and digital experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong appreciation for UX / design, thrives on collaboration, and is always pushing to understand more about their craft.
Responsibilities
- Solve technical problems with your teammates
- Utilize and contribute to our growing React component library
- Understand UX / design documentation deeply
- Help the team launch sites and apps
Requirements
- Source control with git
- Familiar writing semantic HTML
- High level CSS skills including animations
- Experience with CSS preprocessors or CSS-in-JS solutions
- Strong vanilla JS and ES6 fundamentals
- SVGs
- React / Redux
- Rest APIs and asynchronous programming
- CMS experience
- Responsive and mobile development
- Experience with Progressive Web Apps is a plus
- Sketch experience a plus
- GraphQL experience a plus
This position is a full-time on-site role at Amp Agency’s offices in Los Angeles. Amp Front End Developers typically have 2+ years experience and have launched projects for enterprise level clients.
