We are looking for a Business Analyst for a remote position. The position reports to the Director of Transportation. The salary is $60,000 and the hours are M-F 8-5.

Job Summary

The Business Analyst is responsible for managing transportation small-parcel billing (i.e., FedEx, USPS and UPS), pricing support and analysis for our 3PL customers.

Responsibilities:

· Partner closely with client contacts and Finance staff to ensure the billing process is done in a timely and accurate manner Client guidelines are documented, updated and complied with; Billing issues are identified and promptly resolved

• Maintain documentation of procedures, deadlines and other client preferences related to billing
• Respond to information requests from clients and finance team members related to billing reconciliations and outstanding receivables.
• Support requests for month-end accrual information that is timely and accurate
• Other related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Knowledge of:

· Thorough understanding of Tableau Software, BI tool for analysis and mapping

Skilled In:

• Critical Thinking and effective communication
• Self-motivation
• MS Excel to include advanced features such as pivot tables, lookups and filters
• Understanding of Tableau Software, BI tool for analysis and mapping.

Ability To:

· Work outside of established business hours and adjust personal schedule to meet deadlines is required

Selective Preference:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting/billing position, preferably with experience billing/analyzing small-parcel (e.g., FedEx, USPS, UPS) billing; a bachelor’s degree is preferred
