What Do Overnight Stockers Do
Overnight stockers work the night shift at grocery and convenience stores stocking the shelves. Duties and responsibilities of an overnight stocker, also known as a stock clerk, include taking inventory levels, placing orders for new products, and stocking shelves. The job of overnight stocker does not require a college degree. This is an entry-level position and can be the first step towards other retail positions. Useful skills for an overnight stocker include attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to lift over 30 lbs.
